Halloween Game: All Escape & Gas Locations by Map
This guide lists every escape route and gas canister spawn point for each map in the Halloween event game mode. You enter the map name, and you get the exact locations for the exit gates and the gas canisters that power them, so you can plan your route before the round starts.
How the Halloween Game Mode Works
In this limited-time event, teams of survivors must repair a broken escape vehicle by finding and attaching gas canisters. Each map has a fixed number of canisters (usually 4) and a single escape point that activates once all canisters are attached. The killer’s goal is to prevent this by destroying canisters and downing survivors. The locations below are consistent across all matches on a given map, though the canisters may spawn in one of two or three pre-set positions within each marked area.

Common Mistakes and Tips
- Confusing spawn points: Each canister has 2-3 possible exact positions within the marked area. Always check the most obvious spot first, then the secondary ones.
- Ignoring the killer’s patrol: The killer often camps the escape gate. Attach canisters in a rotation that keeps you away from the killer’s last known position.
- Not communicating: If playing with a team, assign each player a canister location at the start. This cuts the search time in half.
- Using the map too late: The locations are fixed, so memorize them before the round starts. Pulling up the map mid-chase gets you killed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do the gas canister locations change every match? No, they are fixed per map. However, each canister has a small set of possible exact positions within the marked area, so you may find it slightly offset from your last game.
How many gas canisters do I need to attach? Always four, regardless of map. The escape gate only opens after all four are attached and the final animation plays.
Can the killer remove attached canisters? Yes, the killer can interact with an attached canister to remove it, which resets that slot. You must reattach it to progress.
Is there a time limit to escape? No, there is no overall round timer. The only pressure comes from the killer’s pressure and the fact that downed survivors need to be revived.
Do the escape gates appear on the map screen? Yes, the escape gate is always shown as a yellow icon on the in-game map. Gas canisters are not shown, so you need to remember their locations.
What happens if I die with a gas canister? The canister drops at your death location. Any teammate can pick it up, but the killer can also destroy it if they find it first.
