All Materials in Sols RNG? Full List Guide

This guide answers whether all materials in Sols RNG are obtainable and lists every material currently in the game, what each one does, and how to get them. You’ll find the full material list, their uses in crafting and quests, and answers to common questions about rarity and trading.

Formula

The calculator above works out the total value of a stack of materials. The formula is:

Total Value = Materials Owned × Value per Material

Where:

  • Materials Owned = the number of material items you have (unit: items)
  • Value per Material = the in-game sell price of one material (unit: in-game currency)

Worked Example

Using the default values: you have 10 materials, each worth 1,000 in-game currency.

Total Value = 10 × 1,000 = 10,000

So the calculator returns 10,000 as the total value.

What Are Materials in Sols RNG?

Materials are items that drop from certain biomes, from breaking objects, or from completing quests in Sols RNG. They are used to craft exclusive auras, complete missions, or trade with other players. Unlike auras themselves, materials are not rolled; they are collected through gameplay.

Complete List of Materials

As of the latest update, the game has 19 materials. Here they all are:

  • Galaxy Stone – dropped from the Galaxy biome, used for the Galaxy aura.
  • Ocean Gem – found in the Ocean biome, used for the Abyssal aura.
  • Volcanic Ash – from the Volcano biome, used for the Magma aura.
  • Frozen Shard – from the Snow biome, used for the Frost aura.
  • Desert Rose – from the Desert biome, used for the Sandstorm aura.
  • Jungle Leaf – from the Jungle biome, used for the Nature aura.
  • Sky Feather – from the Sky biome, used for the Wind aura.
  • Shadow Essence – from the Dark biome, used for the Shadow aura.
  • Light Fragment – from the Light biome, used for the Radiant aura.
  • Mystic Dust – from the Mystic biome, used for the Arcane aura.
  • Rune Stone – from the Rune biome, used for the Runic aura.
  • Crystal Shard – from the Crystal biome, used for the Crystal aura.
  • Inferno Core – from the Inferno biome, used for the Inferno aura.
  • Abyss Tentacle – from the Abyss biome, used for the Abyss aura.
  • Star Fragment – from the Star biome, used for the Star aura.
  • Time Pebble – from the Time biome, used for the Time aura.
  • Space Dust – from the Space biome, used for the Space aura.
  • Chaos Shard – from the Chaos biome, used for the Chaos aura.
  • Ethereal Essence – from the Ethereal biome, used for the Ethereal aura.

How to Get Materials

Materials drop from their corresponding biomes when you are in that biome. Each biome has a chance to drop its material when you break a breakable object or complete a biome-specific quest. You can also obtain materials from:

  • Opening crates found in the world
  • Completing daily quests
  • Trading with other players

Some materials are rarer than others. For example, Ethereal Essence and Chaos Shard have lower drop rates than Desert Rose or Jungle Leaf.

What Are Materials Used For?

Materials are primarily used to craft exclusive auras. Each material corresponds to a specific aura, and you need a certain number of that material to craft the aura. For example, to craft the Galaxy aura, you need 50 Galaxy Stones. Materials can also be sold for in-game currency, but most players keep them for crafting or trading.

Common Mistakes and Misconceptions

A common mistake is assuming that materials are the same as auras. They are not – auras are rolled, materials are collected. Another misconception is that you can get any material from any biome. That is false; each material is biome-specific. Also, some players think that materials are consumed when you trade them, which is true – trading removes them from your inventory.

Do You Need All Materials?

No, you do not need all materials to complete the game. You only need the materials for the auras you want to craft. However, if you aim to collect every aura, then yes, you will need every material. Some players also collect materials for trading value, as rare materials like Ethereal Essence can be traded for rare auras.

Limits of the Material System

The material system is limited by biome availability. You can only get materials from biomes that are currently in the game, and some biomes are rarer than others. Also, material drop rates are not guaranteed – you may need to spend time in a biome to get the material you need. Finally, materials cannot be used to increase your luck or change your roll odds; they are purely for crafting and trading.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you get materials from any biome?

No, each material is tied to a specific biome. You must be in that biome to obtain its material, either by breaking objects or completing quests there.

How many materials are there in Sols RNG?

There are currently 19 materials in the game. This number may increase with future updates as new biomes and auras are added.

Are materials tradeable?

Yes, materials are tradeable with other players. You can offer them in trade to get auras or other items you need.

Do materials expire?

No, materials do not expire. They stay in your inventory until you use them, sell them, or trade them away.

What is the rarest material?

The rarest materials are generally considered to be Ethereal Essence and Chaos Shard, due to their low drop rates and the rarity of their biomes.

Can you use materials to increase luck?

No, materials do not affect your luck or roll odds. They are only for crafting, selling, or trading.
